How to Measure Your Dog

It's very important that you give us the right measurement in order for us to make up your dog’s leather collar. A collar that's too loose or too tight can be uncomfortable and dangerous for your pooch, so be sure to take the time to measure correctly. Giving us the correct measurement is your responsibility

This is one of the most important steps in ordering your handmade BOO! leather dog collar!

Here’s how to do it:

Just lay your dog’s current collar out flat on the table and give us the measurement from the centre of the buckle (where the prong pivots) to the working hole, as illustrated below

The measurement you give us will be placed on the middle hole. That means you’ll have a bit of adjustment room either way to loosen and tighten the collar. As a standard rule of thumb, our leather collars have five holes in total

If you are ordering a handmade leather collar for a growing puppy, and want maximum growth room, just drop us an email and we'll take care of that

If your dog doesn’t currently have a collar then just email us and we’ll tell you what you need to do
